Seoul Searching is a conceptual project designed to improve the experience of American expats moving to Seoul, making their transition to the city smoother and more enjoyable. It offers aid in securing the ideal apartment and provides recommendations, connections, and local insights to help users fully immerse themselves in Seoul's culture. This comprehensive guide highlights iconic districts, restaurants, shops, and hotspots, ensuring a fulfilling relocation experience while covering twenty-five key districts and locations to keep users informed.
The main aim for the app and desktop interface design was to prioritize user-friendliness, fostering a strong connection with expats, a top priority for Seoul Searching, and encouraging new travelers to embrace the experience. The core values revolve around customer care, ensuring a straightforward brand design to enhance our identity. To engage users, I used vibrant brand colors reflecting Seoul's nightlife, along with captivating images of the city's bustling life.
The logo symbolizes the transition from one home to another, capturing the essence of moving to a new place. Through a combination of vertical and horizontal lines, it conveys the concept of linear motion, reflecting life transitions like relocating to a different country. Additionally, it serves as a bridge between traditional homes and the Hanok-style Korean residences.
Seoul Searching’s website and app feature a user-friendly design, aiming to provide a frustration-free experience. The sleek design incorporates bright colors and Seoul images, immersing you in the city’s vibe.
